Getting around by streetcar Dallas

DART Rail has four lines - Red Line, Blue Line, Green Line and Orange Line - that connect the Dallas suburbs to downtown, with stops that serve DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field.

The streetcar offers a route from EBJ Union Station to historic Bishop, while the M-Line Trolley connects Dallas' arts district to the trendy stores and restaurants of Uptown. Yellow and white buses serve the entire city and surrounding areas.

This delightful, fully restored 1920s streetcar travels up McKinney Avenue from St Paul St, at the Dallas Museum of Art, to West Village, the shopping center in Uptown. It is free, but the driver will appreciate a tip. The ride is nice and allows you to look around Uptown and get off whenever you want. Look for the purple signs marked M-Line to wait for your streetcar, and especially wave to the driver when the streetcar passes because it does not always stop!
