This steakhouse is beloved by locals. With its lovely year-round outdoor patio overlooking the river, typical local decor and cheerful staff, the Lone Star Cafe can't be mistaken for any other River Walk restaurant. The menu is extensive, with delicious barbecue sandwiches. One section of the menu is called "Taste of Texas," with classic Texas Ranger style grilled marinated chicken breast, or Luckenbach (the famous Hill Country) pork chops.

la vue sur la rivière San Antonio
la bonne cuisine
l'amabilité des serveurs
l'impression de détente à l'étage au-dessus des autres restaurants
les mariachis (même s'ils passent à tous les restaurants)
le cow-boy qui vous accueille avec son chapeau et son pistolet
