ZILKER PARK

This vast park that stretches between Barton Creek and the Colorado River, south of downtown, is a popular destination for locals. You'll find joggers, soccer players, hikers, and dog walkers. On the large main plain, located at the tip of Barton Springs and the Colorado River, you have a great view of downtown, often filled with people reading in the sun. There is also a botanical garden, picnic tables, a golf course, an amphitheater, and of course the famous Barton Springs.
