THE TARPON INN

This 1886 inn, with its typical local architecture, was built from surplus wood from Civil War barracks. It offers 24 rooms and remains today one of the best options in Port Aransas. Cozy, pleasant and comfortable, the Tarpon Inn has it all. The rooms are very well furnished, with good and soft sheets. We like the retro decoration, warm, and the rocking chairs on the porch. A superb address to spend nice summer evenings in the cool, near the fans.
