Sam Houston Park preserves a few historic Victorian homes lost in the midst of the Downtown buildings.
Here are a handful of small Victorian houses lost in the middle of the buildings of Downtown, a jump in the past in the heart of a more... futuristic Houston. Welcome to Sam Houston Park! Of course, there is not much left of the 19th century in Houston, and these eight houses are a bit like survivors. But we have to salute the effort of this association that has preserved some historical houses, including the one of Rice, the founder of the famous university, and the oldest of which dates back to 1824. Just look at where this city started!

Au calme
Proche de certains musées, immense parc calme avec de beaux jardins et des fontaines. Le jardin japonais est bien paysagé. Un petit parking gratuit.
