THE ORANGE SHOW MUSEUM

Naive art, or art brut, is very present in the south of the United States, especially in Houston, with the Orange Show Museum. Some would even say that American art brut is the soul of the country. This zany monument offers an out of the ordinary experience, built by a letter carrier whose purpose was to honor oranges (yes, the fruit). In danger of being destroyed, the site was saved by a foundation that gave it a new life. This center of about 300 m² presents permanently unusual exhibitions. The most zany artists are very well received there.
