My room was nice and the amenities were good. The staff that I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient near the interstate and not far from the convention center.

Best location in lake Charles. Free casino shuttle on weekend. Awesome breakfast. Rooms are big ,clean and well maintained

I believe the staff person at the front desk was Kathy. I have to say she goes beyond the duty. She makes sure you are taken care of before you leave the desk. We needed a handicap room but they didnot have one. She then called a guest that was to checkin and asked if they needed the handicap room they booked. The guest said no. It was the only room available at the time of booking. She then asked the guest if they would be willing to change for a regular room and the guest said yes. I was blown away she went the extra mile for us. I saw her give the same care to each guest. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I always use my free nights at my Wingate. From the minute I walk n I totally feel welcomed from the aminity bag I get. To the time I check out ... I laugh I talk I gossip I sit at the beautiful pool I eat an amazing breakfast and always get late check out with out a problem!!! I feel like a vip ! And my doggie does too!!! When I have him! Thanks Wingate for being so awesome to me when I stop by l!

We stopped at this location as a sleeping spot to finish our drive back home. The staff was friendly, the lobby was very clean, and the pet fees are very reasonable. I am giving it 2/5 stars due to the bed being extremely uncomfortable and the state of the bathroom. Not going to lie, this is maybe the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. We got a king room, and the pillows on the bed were for a standard bed and they were so small and awkward to sleep on. They were also fluffed so much that they flattened pretty quickly once laying on them. My husband and I barely slept the whole night. Our shower was a walk in and was even with the tile. When we took a shower, the water was leaking onto the floor and we felt so bad leaving a pool of water there, we used the towels to soak it up. The shower head was spewing out water due to an older “fix” with tape to stop leaking at the joint, and the pressure was low because of this. We were so tired from our trip, it didn’t seem important to complain about it right away. Also, the bathroom door was in bad shape. I just feel like as a company, you should take more pride in your brand and make sure things are working properly and look nice, since we are paying over $115 just for one night. The staff was nice, and the lobby was very clean, just wishing the standards for the rooms were held to a higher regard.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great hot breakfast and a shuttle to bring us to the casino and bring us back!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness in the hotel and in the room/bathroom and service at the the Wyngate by Windham lake Charles hotel. The manager Kathy was there and she was very pleasant. The worker in the breakfast area was doing a great job. Very good breakfast and they accept pets (I have a Chihuahua) with very low fee. They had bags for pet disposal and two dog walk areas.

The tub had a water leak, and the toilet seat was loose. The bed was comfy.

Great place to stay. Very clean with well lit parking lot.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Clean and updated with plenty of amenities and a full breakfast.

Went to Lake Charles for a few days and found this as a great value

This hotel was so clean the floors were shining. The room was very clean and the hotel smelled fresh. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet even though it’s right on the interstate. The front desk staff was fabulous and friendly. I had to call them three times because my reservation wasn’t showing up in the system and not once did they sound irritated or rude. We will be staying here again and I am telling anyone who ask to stay there.

Comfortable room. Fridge was tiny. Blood on one of the pillows....gross.

Great place to stay. The hotel had free shuttle service to the casinos.

Too expensive. Room was average. I've stayed before and expected a "10" again... Suggest.,book way ahead to get a better rate.
