Famous Foods is part of the Boudin Trail, which travels through Cajun country and points out good places to eat Cajun blood sausage. Two things to know: Cajun blood sausage is not made with blood, but with rice, pork and spices - blood sausage disgusts most Louisianans. And sometimes the best blood sausages are found at gas stations, so don't hesitate. Famous Foods is also known for its cracklins (fried pork fat), said to be the best in town.
