We came for my 46th birthday to relax in a jacuzzi and enjoy the casino if we wanted to. The hotel was in a nice location, but it needs work. We got the room that was closest to the front which was super annoying and noisy (I’m a light sleeper). The staff was amazing though. The breakfast was fair. My only real complaint is that they need to buy new bedding and repair the floor boards. Our frig didn’t work, they came fixed it and the toilet ran water, we figured out how to make it work while we’re there. Would I go back? Actually, I would.

I have to agree with a few people on their reviews. It does have the stench of marijuana, but that didn't bother me????‍♀️. The fact it took almost 50 minutes to get checked in because the poor lady was by herself, that was a bit crazy...but what do we expect? I'm sure they are short staffed like every company I know. She did the best she could and was so very kind. I really think she deserves a raise having to work by herself JS. The elevator kinda freaked me out at first cause it shakes as it comes to a stop.Thought it was about to crash???? trust me, you have to get on it to know what Im talking about LOL! The only thing I wanted to do was get in the hot tub and well that was a let down. I guess it was broke. Boooo!!???? The room was good, but the pullout couch didn't have any bedding to go with it. The front desk came to the rescue. Again, she needs a raise! I'd leave a better than 3 star review if the hot tub was working. I hope they fix that...and the whole weed thing, well, you can't do anything about someone in the hotel smoking ????‍♀️ Other than all that, the room was great!????????????

Worst hotel I've ever been. I don't like to give bad reviews, but I don't wouldn't won't someone to stay in a place like this. Smells like weed all over the place, bed sheets where so gross, pool disgusting, we had to leave and my sister didn't even get a refund! The lady at front desk was nice and I felt bad for her. But this place needs to be shut down .

Staff and Hotel is top tier

Do not book here! Rooms smell like smoke as soon as you enter the hotel your hit with the smell of cigarettes. The elevator jerks and make noise, when entering the room the room even smells smoke, mattress had multiple stains and human hair was on mattress. The room should have been disinfectant and sheets did not look clean so that explains the mattress stains. My husband card was charge double for one night overall our stay was horrible and very uncomfortable not to mention the A/C did not work well including the water pressure was very low . I REPEAT keep your money and book somewhere else. this should be called a motel it is very much like outdated.

Overnight business stay with my coworkers, staff and service was amazing, you can enjoy the view and the casino, comfortable beds and another plus was the breakfast, food is very tasty and the service here also great. 100% recommended

Stayed here for our annual FAMILY REUNION in July 2023. We use this hotel EVERY YEAR.I was told that I had a smoke free room but the room smelled like straight smoke. My grandbaby has asthma so I had to change rooms with a family member. Notified the front desk and was told that I couldn't be moved nor accommodated in any fashion. Maintenance came and stated that the floor that I was on was half smoke and half non smoking ????
Why not have a full floor of smoking. That shyt made no sense to me. Maintenance turned on the vent machine (whatever it's called) to supposedly help with the smoke smell. nOPE didn't work. Next year (God Spare) I'm letting the family know that WE DO NOT NEED TO USE EVANGELINE DOWNS!!!!!! We gave you guys some business that weekend.
Only good part is that we were able to sit in the front and congregate until we got tired. The ONLY THING THAT WAS GOOD. Others had issues but I'm just speaking on mine. The outside looks inviting but once you get inside your room. All hell breaks lose. Close it up, floor by floor and remodel each room. The casino wasn't any better. That part was smoked out for real. I had a mask on and still couldn't take it. UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE. I'll be following my other members to other hotels next year. This was horrific.
