The small village of Delcambre is best known for the thousands of shrimp boats that leave Vermilion Bay, but it is also known as the home of Shawn's. This gourmet establishment makes an extremely rare chicken boudin - pork boudin is the most common in Louisiana. Another of its famous recipes is a sausage seasoned with cane syrup. And on Sundays, you shouldn't miss the famous barbecue (contact them to reserve your meal).
