The city of Lafayette has a public transportation system. But let's be honest, the runs are infrequent and the service ends early in the evening. The daytime service has seven bus routes and the schedule runs from 5:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. In the evening, four bus lines - Red, Blue, Green, Brown - serve the city between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., again Monday through Saturday. And on Sundays, there is simply no service. If the bus is really cheap, it is easier to get around by cab or Uber.
