Breakfast cost money. Planned on working out, but the fitness center wasn't even open(They told me they were doing reconstruction, which is ok, but could at least told me when I checked in. They didn't even show it on there website when I looked). Overall, it's ok, but would not recommend this hotel.

Big thanks to the service manager Mr. Daryl for everything! As soon as we called and asked for maintenace he came right away to assist us.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Fresh baked cookies were ready at check in. The room was very spacious and warm. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. The hotel has easy access to the I 10 and plenty of restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Breakfast was good with omelets to order and the checkout process was smooth and fast (if you opt to check out at the desk).

Update: march 13th. it’s been weeks and I have not received a refund. If you are on a budget, this may be a big issue for you. Had to call my credit card company and file a dispute

February 21- Call before showing up regardless if you have pre booked. Booked a room using Booking. Com. Came in and was told all rooms were sold out. I asked if they could refund my payment, told me I would have to contact Booking. Very inconvenient and aggravating.

Rooms are old and out dated......BUT I have three must haves when traveling.....1.) Clean, 2.) Ice Cold Air for sleeping [66°], 3.) Quiet! And it was ALL of thee above! Can't forget the yummie cookie!!!

I stayed here for a week. The hotel doesn't look as nice as they make it seem in the photos. Service is good from the staff but management is very poor.

Anna at the front desk was awesome. She was very respectful and know with everything. I was traveling and she did everything possible to make sure I got a room ASAP ( being check in wasn't until 3pm) Shewas very informative on the restaurant, bar and breakfast for the next morning. My room was very nice and clean. The housekeeper on my floor(never caught her name, but she was hearing impaired) was so sweet and pleasant as well. I'd stayed at a hotel across the street several times before and it was NOTHING compared to this hotel. I'm looking forward to staying again. Soon. Oh and not to mention the cookies..OMG.

Oh and to whom it may concern... please fix the employee fridge...Anna's yogurt was frozen and we didn't like that????????

Nice hotel in convenient location in Baton Rouge. As a diamond member, I do have a level of service that I expect. Before arriving to the hotel, I attempted to check-in through the app but didn't receive a digital key. We had to check in at the front desk. No employee was at the front desk when we arrived. We had to ring the bell and wait. We were not thanked for being a diamond member, snacks and waters were not provided. No information was given regarding breakfast times....nothing. On the plus side, the bartender was AMAZING! He was a very polite and well-mannered gentleman! The hotel was pretty clean, pool was closed. No other issues.

Called 6 times trying to get someone on phone since for whatever reason my husband’s name wasn’t on the check in (typed it in myself while booking). When someone finally answered, wanted to put me on hold since “I have a long line of people here waiting to check in” she was extremely rude and had a bad attitude. Also..: even if name on reservation, would need my card. (I’m still traveling and have 2 hrs more before I arrive). So I call Hilton’s main number only to get “you have a 23 min wait time”. I hear on the recording that I can download the app, do a digital check in and no front desk!! At this point.. I’m so happy that I don’t have to deal with the girl with the attitude but I remain on hold anyway “just in case” since so far.. this is such a disaster. Guess what? Someone gets on the phone and tells me to complete it so that I can get a digital key and he can just go to the room. But.. the key won’t work til 6pm (another hr). She offers to call the front desk directly so that the key will get issued immediately. By then ,we’re at 34 min on phone and she comes back to tell me she’s still on hold but please remain on the line. Then, here we go… can you believe this?? “They’re not able to issue the key until I arrive” (hour and half from now) because the digital key is unavailable even tho I’ve digitally checked in. All this and we’re at 40 min now.
JESUS PLEASE TAKE THE WHEEL.

Update… I arrive, The rude one is at the desk but the really, nice helpful one was Justin. We reported all the above and he was so apologetic and said he would let the GM know so we’ll see what comes of this. We get upstairs and the first key didn’t work at all but we did get in with the other one. Room was alright, bed was comfy but the sofa has apparently seen its last days. When I went to get an extra pillow out of the closet, it was apparent that someone had a nose bleed on it. (See other photo) Being a nurse… I immediately tossed it aside and washed my hands again well. We go downstairs this morning to try and check out, no one at the desk, no one ever came after ringing the bell several times so onto just grabbing some coffee and getting out of dodge. No coffee. At all. Not even set up.

We came for Mardi Gras Swim meet and our heat wasn't working ( it was 30-40 degrees out) the first night. Mr Darryl - chief engineer came and worked on it, he was frank that the fix would take time and he expedited a room move for us two times as the first move would have moved us away from our team mates. He was kind and we appreciated the direct communication that the situation wasn't a quick fix, followed by a solution until we were in a warm room, close to our team.

Once I was in my room the satellite would not connect and the room phone was not working. I had to use my cell phone to call down about the two issues. Was told maintenance would be at my door within 5 minutes. 15 minutes later (I hadn’t unpacked yet till the satellite issue was resolved and phone) so I called from my cell phone again she said that she would go get him. He knocked in the door mumbled something about the satellite he jiggles the wires it then went through a reboot. He stated the phone would need to be serviced through an outside company? I went to the front desk the next morning spoke with a front desk associate expressed that I have Acute asthma that I would feel safer with a working phone. I stayed from Monday - Friday. I checked the phone Friday morning to see if it was working and it was. So why did I not have a working phone. Also at one time there was a microwave and fridge during past stays at this property. I asked at the front desk wasn’t told when I checked it that the rooms were being renovated and that the microwave and fridge were moved to the “city” view. The other side was going through renovation. I asked if the fridge and microwave were being removed for the future and she said yes. The rooms looked so bare not even an alarm clock. This is a Hilton property? I’ve stayed at this property many years and this time I could see the decline in the hotel. I will not be back as a lifetime Diamond member. I was not treated as a loyal Hilton Honors guest. Plus my health is not important to have a working phone. By the way I checked the phone before I left the room there was a dial tone for the first time.

Be careful. Your vehicle WILL get broken into if anything valuable gets left in view. That includes inconsequential seeming things like phone chargers etc. I experienced this and management didn't even seem to care. The custodian said that the week it happened to me 17 other cars had been vandalized, most likely by juveniles staying in the neighborhood behind. The solution was to put up little warning signs to limit the hotels liability. I would never go back after spending over $3,000 to replace the damage and stolen items. Corporate never responded to my email about it.

The staff was very friendly and the greet you upon check-in with warm fresh baked cookies. Love it!
