PRAIA LAGARTO

Nestled in the bay of Ana Chaves, in the northwest of São Tomé, this long sandy beach offers a pleasant break to lay your towel in the capital. Unfortunately, it is sometimes littered with rubbish, but once cleaned up, the setting is nice. You can swim in peaceful waters, generally clean. There are a few establishments nearby, including a bar-restaurant, which is very welcoming and serves good grilled meats and cocktails. At the end of the day, you can enjoy the sunset that is dying on the horizon.
