THE RAPIDS OF DOUMÉ

Between the confluence of the Mpassa and the Léyou, the Doumé rapids are located in the middle course upstream of the Ogooué and are part of a vast hydrographic network. To reach them, you can go up the Ogooué for 32 km by pirogue, or drive to the hamlet of Doumé, but the feeling of discovery is different. When you arrive in the village, ask a guide to take you to the "falls", which are actually rapids. The site is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, which will delight nature lovers.
