The Vera plains, surrounded by majestic cliffs, are one of Gabon's outstanding natural heritage sites

The plains of Vera stretch as far as the eye can see to the east of Gamba. Part of the Gamba protected areas, they are surrounded by majestic cliffs and are one of Gabon's outstanding natural heritages. You need a 4x4 to explore them, and a guide is strongly advised if you want to find the Catchiba lake, however surrounded by vast swampy areas. In the plains, only a few groves of forest break the monotony of the landscape. You can observe a rich and interesting fauna.

Un safari dans les plaines
Autour de Gamba, il faut se perdre (mais pas trop) dans ces plaines sableuses peuplées d'éléphants, de buffles, de sitatungas et de singes... à conseiller en fin d'après-midi avec un bon 4x4
