MARKET

Every day, near the pier, a market is held where exchanges and bartering of all kinds are practiced between the arrivals of Port-Gentil and the locals of Lambaréné. Food, fish, fruit and other foodstuffs that are not available in Lambaréné are transported on boats loaded to the brim! You have to make your way through the crowd to appreciate this lively local atmosphere. You can do some shopping, especially with the saleswomen sitting under colorful umbrellas. A nice little tour to immerse yourself in the local culture.
