Memorial to the first president of the Gabonese Republic, Léon Mba
Erected as a tribute to the first president of the Gabonese Republic, Leon Mba, the memorial was for a time open to the public. One could learn about the life of the head of state Léon Mba, and Omar Bongo who succeeded him, and several objects were exhibited there. A library and a multimedia room completed the visit inside to understand the history of Gabon. From the outside, you can appreciate the monument and its two doves, as well as the floral and botanical garden, until the building is opened again.

Situé sur l'emplacement du village natal du premier président du Gabon, le mémorial vaut le détour. Un guide sympathique vous accompagne dans la visite. Hélas le bâtiment principal était fermé pour travaux (constaté en mai 2015). Petit jardin avec diverses essences tropicales.
