PUNTA CORMORAN

The "Cormorant Point" is actually the ideal place to observe... pink flamingos! After disembarking on a quiet beach, often populated by sea lions, a small path runs along a lagoon lined with mangrove trees. It is the favorite refuge of the flamingos which find there the shellfish necessary to their food. The colonies of birds evolve serenely in a shimmer of incredible shades. The lagoon is also the refuge of curlews, ducks, stilts and turnstones. Beyond, it leads to Playa Blanca, a beautiful white sand beach, hence its name.
