BAHIA ELIZABETH

Elizabeth Bay can be reached by boat, but landings are not allowed. It is on the islets that the Galapagos penguins live. This bay is a real refuge for animals, both terrestrial and underwater. On one side the mangrove, and on the other the numerous reefs, are as many hiding places conducive to reproduction. Birds are omnipresent, in particular the famous young cormorants that can no longer fly. The underwater fauna is abundant: sea turtles, rays and sharks.
