CALETA TAGUS

A mythical place in the Galapagos. Pirates used to take refuge in this cove which was an ideal shelter after their misdeeds. They left many inscriptions on the rocks, perhaps you will discover a treasure there... The salt water lagoon, surrounded by green vegetation, and the ascent to the ridge of the Darwin volcano, from where one can observe an immense expanse of black lava, are spectacles not to be missed. The local fauna is interesting: giant tortoises, land iguanas, Darwin's finches, pelicans and boobies. Access is by boat.
