BAHIA SULLIVAN

On the east coast of Santiago, this bay is of great geological interest and will teach you a lot about the formation of the Galapagos. The volcanic formations are amazing. There is little wildlife here, but the strange landscape, formed only 150 years ago, is worth the detour alone. The hiking trail passes through fields of solidified lava that give the impression of being on the surface of the moon. It then leads into the interior of the land, which is beginning to be colonized by living nature gradually taking over from the mineral.
