MUSEO MUNICIPAL DE GUAYAQUIL

The Museum of the City of Guayaquil has as many rooms as there are eras tracing the history of the city, from the pre-Columbian era of the region, which was the first to use ceramics, to the great men who marked the 20th century of the new Guayaquil, through the colonial construction of the city. On one wall of the museum is inscribed the poem La Perla del Pacífico, by the journalist-poet Juan Batista Aguirre, in honour of Guayaquil.
