This lodge, which works in an eco-responsible and solidarity tourism perspective, is located in a little explored area of Cuyabeno where thousands of species are listed. You can reach it by canoe from the bridge of Cuyabeno (40 minutes). It has 9 rustic bamboo bungalows. The central hut houses a dining room, bar and kitchen, and upstairs is a viewpoint. Bird and monkey watching excursions, night walks to see reptiles and insects, canoe rides, visits to communities, swimming in the lagoons...

Nevertheless you should be aware that this brings about some circumstances you need to get used to - as you might have to share your room with insects and other animals such as bats or frogs. BUT: you do have a mosquito net and spend most of the time outside anyway, so that you can really live with that. Moreover the amazing wildlife you can experience should compensate every negative aspect. We have seen so many wild animals, such as monkeys, sloths, dolphins (!), several birds and many many others.
