A modern youth hostel with a streamlined style and good value for money, popular with backpackers who meet on the patio.

Yakumama is very well located in the historical center of the beautiful city of Cuenca and has a very good quality/price ratio. The hostel is run by Swiss people and they speak English, German and Spanish. This very modern hostel, made of wood and with a pure style, is a very famous place and appreciated by backpackers from all over the world. In the evening, you can meet in the patio to sip a cocktail or drink a tea while listening to a guitar song or discussing travels with other globetrotters. Solo travellers will be delighted! We love it.
