Hosteria in a hacienda with some 30 decorated rooms, a restaurant and a former chapel.
We can only recommend this superb 16th century hacienda (1580), classified as a historical monument by the Central Bank of Ecuador. In 1742, it hosted La Condamine during his geodesic mission and Humboldt in 1802. A double avenue of immense cedars leads to the entrance of this elegant residence. The old chapel is worth a look. The 30 or so rooms and the common areas are magnificent, decorated with antique furniture and in a classical style. The restaurant serves good international cuisine. Very nice address!

Notre suite, 100m2, "chauffée" par 2 minuscules radiateurs à bain d'huile était froide à tous les sens du terme. Un établissement qui a eu son heure de gloire mais qui est laissé à l'abandon.
