Museum located in the presidential palace, built in the century, offering a guided tour of the country's history
This is the presidential palace, built in the 17th century and then remodeled in the 19th century. The museum of the Presidency of the Ecuadorian Republic, located within the governmental palace, proposes a guided return on the history of the country and the great dates which marked the republic through eleven very nicely decorated rooms. Numerous works of art, mainly given as gifts to the president, are also on display in the heart of the Casa de Gobierno in the form of a museum of the Presidency.
