TREN DE LOS VOLCANES

The "Train of the Volcanoes" travelled along a section of the Avenue of the Volcanoes and gave a nice overview of the central Andes. The train goes to Tambillo, Machachi and El Boliche where the Parque Nacional Cotopaxi is located (a walk is planned in the park). On the way, you can also observe the volcanoes Pichincha, Atacazo, Pasochoa, La Viudita and Rumiñahui. Beautiful views on the program, but since 2020 the Ecuadorian Railways are stopped for bankruptcy, but should operate again, the same lines enriched, from 2022. Be patient!
