René is a French archaeologist (from Brittany) expert from the Maya world. He came to Hedmann for the first time in 1976 to write his doctoral thesis. After several years in Australia, he returned to Honduras. With his wife Rubenia, he opened a small restaurant in a very green and very quiet garden. They offer typical Honduran dishes at lunchtime. A good address on the road between the ruins of Hedmann and Guatemala, and the opportunity to become acquainted with a sacred character.

Cuisine bonne dans un cadre agréable mais fortement gâché par René qui quelqu'un de hautain, désagréable voir méchant.
Lorsque nous lui avons demandé ce qu'il nous proposais a boire, sans plus de réponse il n'a pas hésité à nous dire qu'il avait autre chose à f..... que d'attendre que l'on se décide. Je penses que l'on peut trouver mieux.
