Travel Guide Los Vahos

A consequence of the volcanic activity of the region, the steam baths, or Vahos, barely 3 km from the city centre, are highly appreciated by the population of Xela. The entrance price is small. To get there, better take the bus first (direction Almolonga-Zunil). The stop is located in Xela, at the corner of 10 at Calle and 9 at Avenida (Zona 1) at Shell Station level. The Bifurcation for Los Vahos is about 1,2 km from the petrol station. Ask the driver to stop there. Then you have 2 km to walk on foot (if you cannot do otherwise!). The walk is pleasant. Think of the double reward that awaits you upon arrival: steam bath and view on Xela.
