This hill is home to the Plaza de Santiago, the patron saint of the conquistadors, and offers a beautiful view of the city and Volcán de Agua.
As you walk up 1A Avenida Norte, a path climbs to the left. After a short walk in the shade of the trees, it leads to the hill - "cerro" - where the Plaza de Santiago, the patron saint of the conquistadors and, inevitably, of Antigua is located. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the Volcán de Agua. Going back down to the center, turn right on the plaza. Continue along the narrow Colonia Candelaria, a pretty residential street where the houses, although still colorful, differ from those in the heart of the city.

le point de vue
incontournable de votre visite d'Antigua, de toute façon c'est à cet endroit que vous dominerez la ville et en verrez ses détails et points de repères, magnifique vue sur la ville et ses volcans. pour y parvenir vous grimperez un sentier escalier sécurisé par la police (eh ici ça craint un peu, le touriste amène quelques valeurs) le cheminement n'est pas trop physique et supportable et la récompense sera au bout!

La colline offre un point de vue unique sur le volcan Agua. Je recommande d'y monter le matin, lorsque la visibilité est généralement meilleure. J'y suis allé en milieu d'après-midi et malgré un ciel ensoleillé il y avait de la brume qui masquait le volcan à distance.

"Cerro de la Cruz" se situe sur les hauteurs d'Antigua, en face du Volcan. Au pieds de cette croix on peut voir une vue dégagée sur Antigua et ses volcans.
