Church with domes and beautiful façade, adorned with statues of saints and housing the relics of Santo Hermano Pedro de Betancourt.

Adorned with statues of saints, this multi-domed church has a beautiful façade with twisted columns. It houses the relics of Santo Hermano Pedro de Betancourt (1626-1667), a missionary known for having founded the first convalescent home and the first school where all children and adults were accepted, regardless of their color or gender. It is also possible to visit the ruins and the museum, but the chapel is only open to prayers.

Cette église située en périphérie d'Antigua sera vous séduire par son allure et style, c'est l'une des seules encore presque entière et debout! façade baroque espagnol, c'est un lieu de pèlerinage ne pas manquer d'aller visiter le tombeau de Bétancourt.
A noter que la visite est gratuite et c'est rare à Antigua, il faut le souligner, seul le musée attenant est payant mais ne sera que pour les initiés. Incontournable du circuit de visite de la ville. Tenue correcte pour visiter!
