A small island of barely 1,000 souls, in the center of the bay of Santiago de Cuba, which you can walk around in about 20 minutes. Note the church of San Rafael that dominates the area. An English slave trader once lived there, before the place became a leisure garden reserved for the santiaguera bourgeoisie. Today, fishermen have taken over the cayo.
