Every year, at the end of June, the city pays tribute to local poet Juan Cristóbal Nápoles Fajardo (1829-1862). El Cucalambé, its nickname, was known for its art consumed by the pagan, a poem that was rimé and systematically composed of ten verses. His works will inspire a large number of singers.
