In the heart of downtown, Camagüey's best hotel, recently taken over by the Melia chain, was built in the late 1940s in a former 18th century colonial residence. Note the elegant woodwork. Piano bar available nightly. Whether you're a resident of the hotel or not, feel free to access the bar on the top floor of the building to enjoy one of the best views of the city. Florentino is in charge!

Un hôtel de style des années 1940
L’établissement, situé en plein cœur de la ville est d’architecture ancienne et on appréciera le bar au décor stylé des années 1940. Les chambres sont confortables, assez petites et la climatisation plutôt bruyante. Depuis la salle à manger où l’on prend dîner et petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet, on a une belle vue panoramique sur la ville. Pendant le dîner, j’ai apprécié la présence d’un trio de musique classique européenne et internationale discret mais d’excellente qualité.

Hôtel central, propre et bien rénové. Cependant, les chambres sont minuscules et bruyantes. L'air conditionné fait un bruit épouvantable. La piscine n'est plus accessible à partir de 18H, heure à laquelle on revient des visites et où l'on a envie d'en profiter. Parking payant. Mieux vaut réserver un hôtel boutique de la gamme Encanto
