This site, chosen in 1819 to establish the new French colony, is the heart of the historic district. A rose window on the ground indicates the place designated by de Clouet. You will see the Triumphal Arch (1902), the only one of its kind in Cuba, and the white marble statue of Martí (1906), both commemorating the birth of the Cuban Republic. Two lions standing on high pedestals protect the entrance. You can also admire the majestic buildings surrounding the square. Ideal to sit in the shade and enjoy the moment.

Très beau parc dans lequel trône une statue de José Marti, fondateur du Parti Révolutionnaire Cubain. Il est entouré de superbes bâtiments du XIXe siècle. Incontournable à Cienfuegos.

très belle place centrale de la ville avec les deux rues principales piétonnes qui y arrivent. de très beaux batiments s'y trouvent et parfois on peut voir une démonstration de karaté d'enfants
des petites échoppes locales s'y trouvent permettant de parfaire ses cadeaux!

Très belle place, surprenante de par la belle architecture des bâtiments qui l'entourent. L'arc de triomphe est magnifique. Les bancs pour s'ombrager un peu et se perdre dans la contemplation... A faire. En bonus, petit marché artisanal dans une rue attenante.
