FORMER PREY MEAS GOLD MINE

Go straight east past the village of Bokéo. After the^2nd village, turn right, then right again after the small wooden bridge (2 houses on the right, 300 m after the bend). You arrive at the Jarai village of Phum Pia (300 inhabitants). The mine and miners' village were located some 7 km further along the track in the forest. There's not much left to see, but it's a good opportunity to imagine what life was like for the miners as they trod the mine floor.
