PHUM BAGN CHNOB - KHUM CHREY

In this village, dedicated to the production of pottery, we can observe a particular technique. The work is done under the houses (which are built on stilts). Pottery is made by families, some in the traditional way, by turning a pot on a block and working it with a small wooden scraper. Under the impetus of a number of NGOs, more and more families are adopting the traditional potter's wheel. Pottery can be bought for less than a dollar.
