CASCADES

The walk to get there crosses very beautiful country landscapes. We leave the Hang Meas hotel in the direction of the Mittapheap market (a small local market with a number of kiosks). At km 2 (where the asphalt road turns right towards the border), turn left through the market, then left again at the crossing. At km 5.4, turn right. At km 7.5, you will find the first set of rapids. Cross the shallow creek at the ford and continue on the trail. From here on, the forest becomes really beautiful, quite dense and green with great trees. At km 8.7, we leave the bikes next to Mr. Aom Sambath's small house and then take a little further left, walking up the creek amidst the water and rocks. There are several series of waterfalls, the most beautiful are of course the most difficult to access over the slippery rocks. The first waterfall is called O'Chrah, it has a big sister a little further on the right when we continue the path where we left the motorcycles. If you want to go there, it is better to leave in the morning and have a picnic on the way. To be sure of its blow, it is better to take a guide... It saves time by moving forward for sure and it is a good opportunity to make a few dollars to people who need it. This off the beaten path excursion will give you the impression of a small adventure, and will be quite refreshing at the end.
