BASET TEMPLE
Ruins of a temple from the time of Suryavarman in the great rice plains, pieces of columns in the pagoda.
The extensive ruins of Baset temple, located in the vast rice-field plains to the east of Battambang, date back to the time of Suryavarman I. The Prasat is not in very good condition. The Prasat is not in very good condition. The gallery has collapsed, part of the site is more or less hidden by buildings, the last water basin is under the pagoda... Wandering around the temple, you find pieces of columns and windows, but many pieces have been sheltered in the Battambang museum. A pleasant stroll nonetheless.
