WAT KANDAL

This temple of the end of the 19th century is in activity and one meets many monks who live there. Wat Kandal houses a large number of stupas; some built in the Angkorian style, others much more modern. There is a large reproduction of Angkor Wat, as well as beautiful paintings inside the main monument. The temple is also interesting for the numerous tombs present, of all styles and sizes. A rather heterogeneous heap of structures which does not really seem to have any overall logic.
