Hexagonal-shaped chapel hosting many weddings, which became one of the most popular American destinations

This wooden chapel is hexagonal in shape. It was built in 1870 for visitors and new residents of the island, who were not welcomed with open arms by the Methodists. It has hosted many weddings since Martha's Vineyard became one of the most popular American wedding destinations. If you are lucky, the doors may be open and you will be able to see the beautiful wooden dome from the inside. You will be most likely to enter the Vineyard on Sunday morning when mass is celebrated.
