This university, founded in 1789 by Jesuit John Carroll, is known for his law school. On sunny days, the beautiful lawns of the campus incite laziness. Bill Clinton, Pat Buchanan (Conservative politician) and the children of Donald Trump (Ivanka and Eric) were educated there. Enjoy the Healy Hall, a historic site, and its beautiful clock tower.

Se prendre pour un étudiant américain durant quelques heures en se promenant dans cette université. Les bâtiment sont accessible à tout le monde.

Une vraie Université à l'Américaine. Un campus plein de charme au milieu d'un quartier atypique. Un peu vide l'été. Mais quand même ouvert. On peut même faire les curieux en rentrant dans les bâtiments.

La premiere universite Catholique aux Etats-Unis qui est sous la direction de l'ordre des Jesuites. Elle a ete etablie par l'eveque Carroll dont un membre de la famille etait le seul signature Catholique de la Constitution des Etats-Unis. Sa presence a Washington est un element important de son importance generale. Surtout reputee pour sa faculte des Affaires Etrangeres qui a forme de nombreux diplomates ainsi que des employes du CIA. Elle a bien sur d'autres facultes, y compris une ecole de medecine qui a ete longtemps la plus chere des Etats-Unis.
