An institution in D.C for fish and seafood, where Barack Obama likes to celebrate his birthday. It is off with completely cooked whole fish, wild langoustines and cakes crabs to fall on the ground. Italian flavours explode in the mouth thanks to the know-how of Fabio and Maria Trabocchi, the Italian restaurant Star in Washington. This is not given, but lunch dishes are more accessible and the Maria menu offers an entrance, a dish and a dessert at a reasonable price. On Potomac, this restaurant offers romantic surroundings for a chic outing.

Open on Mondays from 5pm to 10pm, Tuesday to Friday from 11.30am to 2.30pm and from 5pm to 10pm (until 10.30pm on Friday), Saturday from 5pm to 10.30pm and Sunday from 5pm to 10pm. Count US$30/plate for lunch and US$40/plate for dinner.
