Held by Tuareg, this camp, usually very warm and offering good service, has suffered from the absence of tourists since 2010. Thus, the renovation work necessary following the rainy season had not been possible. However, if you call enough ahead, Abdoulaye and his team will welcome you as a family: Tea ceremony as welcome, delicious méchoui prepared by a second Abdoulaye, an outstanding cook, and long evenings around the fire, sometimes accompanied by the singing songs of Man… all poetry of the Sahel is here. Besides its catering and accommodation service, its guides are available to visit Oursi and its points of interest, organize a bivouac on the dune or organise a slug excursion.

Oursi is to be visited once you alla has Gorom Gorom (market Thursday). The oasis in the middle of the desert is surprising!
