He welcomes you in his cellar, which is located in an old garage that has been nicely renovated. During your tasting, you will discover surprising wines, such as the Pinot Gris Mystérieux, the Riesling Grand Cru Mandelberg and the Gewurtztraminer Cuvée Spéciale, with very original labels.

Coming from a long line of Alsatian winemakers, Mathieu is the son of Jean-Michel who manages the superb Domaine Marcel Deiss in Bergheim. In 2003, Mathieu created, with his partner Emmanuelle, the beautifully named Vignoble du Rêveur, certified Ecocert. Applying the rules of biodynamic culture, Mathieu Deiss elaborates surprising wines, resulting from a vinification in amphora and a bottling without filtration, with little or no addition of sulfur.
