Bozeman is neither the most populous city in Montana nor the capital, but certainly the most convenient and pleasant gateway. Served by the small international airport Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, it is an ideal gateway to the state at only 1:30 a. m. from the north entrance of Yellowstone and 5 hours drive from Glacier National Park. It is practical, but not without any attractions. This charming town welcomes the University of Montana and boasts a small, dynamic and cosmopolitan center. We love its relaxed atmosphere, sports with a cool West soul and its main street lined with sports stores, greedy and local addresses and shops. A small city center with a few museums that deserve a detour but also a beautiful nature at the gates of the city. In the beautiful valley of the Gallatin River, Bozeman is surrounded by the cut reliefs from the Big Belt Mountains to the north, Bridger to the northeast, Tobacco Root to the west, Hyalites to the south and Gallatin to the southwest. As you will have understood, the city stands in a unique setting in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and the green valleys covered with pine trees. Lovers of cycling, hiking and winter sports, among other adventures "outdoor", will necessarily be the angels. It is also the departure of rafting excursions on the rivers of the Gallatin, Madison and Yellowstone rivers.
