A hotel opened in 2015 that has taken up residence in an old boarding house for sailors, built in 1881! Located in Chinatown in the centre, we like its proximity to Downtown, Pearl and the Willamette river, but also its low prices, for casual backpackers. The dormitories with shared bathroom, with triple bunk beds, offer well insulated beds as cocoons from each other, with double pillows, plug, clocker, reading light, etc. Private rooms with shared bathrooms are an alternative to superior suites with a sofa and a private bathroom. All are in a very industrial style, with raw wood parquet flooring and exposed bricks, decorated with vintage objects, the place is well connected. Especially since the hotel includes a chic café, a bar and a roof-top terrace with a breathtaking view of Portland, which is a great success in summer.
