Opulence and grandeur make Prestonfield House an extraordinary destination in Great Britain. This stunning property was built as a rural retreat in 1687 and has lost none of its splendour. Converted into a luxury hotel in the 1960s, Margaret Thatcher, Winston Churchill, Sean Connery and Elton John stayed here. The 23 rooms exude luxury and their rustic furnishings give the stay a feeling of a Highland castle in the middle of the capital. The vast garden at the foot of Arthur's Seat adds much to the character of the place.

We were a party of 7 and we had zero complaints on any food from any course that was served.
The helpful friendly staff just adds to the overall experience.
I will absolutely go here again the next time I'm in Edinburgh.
