This address is distinguished by its elegant, but not stilted, atmosphere. You can have a drink at the bar, which has an impressive wine list and a good selection of champagnes, with an assortment of cheeses or mussels, or lunch at the restaurant upstairs. On the menu, all the classics of French cuisine. Its small tables with designer cutlery and candle holders are a detail that completes the refinement of the whole. The food is resolutely Franco-Scottish and the lunch menu is very good value for money.

Not really French fine cuisine and not as good as expected according to the reviews. Certainly overpriced for the quality.

Main meal was excellent and house wine good. Had venison. Was quiet for a Thursday night. Decor upstairs could do with a revamp.

Visited today on the suggestion of a friend who has history of eating around Edinburgh. Absolutely fantastic food with a brilliant atmosphere, my fiancée speaks French and our waitress conversed with her fluently and made her feel very welcome. We had a brilliant beef bourguignon and enjoyed our time here. Would absolutely visit again if we ever find ourselves in Edinburgh.

Amazing food, very high quality and delicious. Quite pricey, but the portion sizes are huge and the ingredients are fresh so it’s worth it!

Wonderful French restaurant in an old converted church.
