Don't expect to go away hungry in this tiny take-away where only one table can accommodate customers. Most people take away one of the huge potato fillings, accompanied by your choice of one or more vegan or vegetarian toppings (curry, hummus, avocado, coleslaw, chili...). A medium formula is more than enough for a big eater and you can also enjoy a few salads and cakes, making it an ideal and tasty drop-off point just a few steps from the Royal Mile. A comforting dish and emblematic of the United Kingdom.

RIP Baked Potato Shop - gone but not forgotten. Great food at great prices. Replaced by a generic souvenir shop... As if the Old Town needs another.

Baked potato place without meat (vegetarian and vegan). Tried three toppings, they were all delicious (haggis, cheese/onion/pineapple and a spinach/bean salad). The potatoes could have been warmer. The place is quite small, ideal for a quick stop. The ladies were lovely.

Good food but little space to sit in, better for take away

Yummy, healthy fast food without remorse. Can recommend baked potatoes with chickpea salad and spicy chilli filling.

So happy to find some vegan food to go easily! The curried corn was delicious, as I’m told was the vegan haggis. Exactly what we needed after a couple of whiskies on an empty stomach!
